Kash Patel was born in an Indian Gujarati family in New York’s Garden City. He was born on February 25, 1980, and did his schooling in New York City. Patel did his graduation from the University of Richmond and later earned a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. He has worked as a lawyer and has also provided his services to the various departments of the government.
Indian-origin Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel on Thursday got confirmed as the new FBI director of the US. The Senate informed that while the nominee got 51 votes in favour, 49 voted against him. Patel thanked the US President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi for their support and pledged to restore citizens faith in the FBI, adding that no offender will be spared.
“I am honoured to be confirmed as the ninth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Thank you to President Trump and Attorney General Bondi for your unwavering confidence and support,” Patel posted on X (formerly Twitter).
