Paris, February 12, 2025 – Google CEO Sundar Pichai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit in Paris, where they discussed India’s digital transformation and AI’s role in shaping the country’s future.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Pichai expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Delighted to meet with PM @narendramodi today while in Paris for the AI Action Summit. We discussed the incredible opportunities AI will bring to India and ways we can work closely together on India’s digital transformation.”

During the summit, PM Modi co-chaired discussions alongside French President Emmanuel Macron, advocating for a global AI framework to regulate risks while fostering innovation.

PM Modi also engaged with Indian and French business leaders at the India-France CEOs Forum, stressing the importance of economic collaboration.
